its a pretty good growth rate, and very steady, you might need more referers, and more hits from google though.

also are all these hits from google valid?

if trafic genuine or fake never can be seen at a single glance in regular stats ... such questions need in depth verification

    example
about a year ago i certainly realized that i had 4 files among my TOP-URL list that had no extraordinary content to earn such top spots among thousands of files.
it was but thru direct verification and offline research of my stats and access_log
finally i foiund that a huge network on chinese IPs created the fake traffic distributed over hundreds ever changing chinese IPs - omething very hard to discover via stats alone.

hence to know if your traffic is genuine you may have to do some direct offline research every once in a while

Why those chinese wanted to create fake traffic to some of your pages? Do you have ads on them?

it has nothing to do with ads - actually the ads never are displayed because that network uses a too lOTHER than a regular browser to make the ten thousands of page-downloads.

the reason why a country does create fake traffic is the very same why some ppl HERE want to create fake alexa traffic for increased alexa rank ...
to APPEAR much bigger than in reality! to attract money or higher investments due to a faked apparent high importance based on purely inexisting high traffic.

i am very sure that i am BY FAR NO exception but that thousands or millions of sites are targeted to further increase the fake appearance of being BIG ) china as a market place is above all big thanks to pirate stuff, fake rolex, and many other fake products...

it about money - just like some webmaster fake the alexa rank to earn higher advertising prices from those basing their CPC or other ad prices based on alexa rank.

a major US based ISP does something very comparable to increase artificially its apparent size ....

    totally wrong

they want to inflate THEIR traffic to boost their economy and market$-value!
their country is origin of traffic that appears in many ppls logs all around the globe - hence chinaŝ ww market/industry is the beneficiary of an inflated fake traffic

So you read your access.log files (apache logs) and see traffic from china. How this inflate the traffic on their sites? The only way I see this happening is if you publish your logs.

many hosting companies have stats online by default and some siteowner link to these stats OR the stats have typical URL and sooner or later will become public

for such fake data to become effective there is no need that all publish their country stats
but out of millions some may do and out of those data decisions or oppinions ,may be formed or DE-formed by fake data

there is a mAjOr US ISP doing something comparable since a few years - most likely for a very similar reason - to appear larger than bankruptcy size.

just imagine a scenario where an entire country's industry needs investment - may be just sa few dozen share holders - and how much they get 1 million $ or 100 millions $ depends on how big their potential market is ...

the only way to proof such is by getting from a sample (random) number of sites a country stat showing high ranks for their entire country's traffic (=many customers/www users)

China has a long history of fakes and lack of quality consicousness - just look at the very recent withdrawals from US markets of various products
    its all only about $
in china and elsewhere as well
for some any means is acceptable no matter the ethics and moral standards
