ANSWER : i contacted the site owner (amit at labnol.org) this is what he said "They have upgraded my AdSense account for serving Javascript based ads where you get some more control over the formatting of ads." - pretty cool eh ? better formatting .
labnol.org of course! He had his a dedicated blog post on the google adsense blog regarding his income.
Just to clear the confusion - the AdSense ads on my website, that are referred in this thread, are Javascript based.
That blog is just silly. 1) Hes gonna get banned for showing the number of clicks he got. 2)He contradicts himself. Says not to use AdSense, then he promotes it in another post.
yeah those ads pretty much look like premium ads. btw how can one get to use javascript ads? Is there a way to upgrade adsense account and what are the requirements?
Can anyone tell me the requirements for upgrading the ads to javascript? Show us the proof to support your statement. As Jim said, if you have no idea of what you are speaking, don't speak.
The adds are of premium nature and it is because of quality traffic he is getting. If your site is in first 100 alexa, yahoo.google ranking you too can get that kind of upgradation.
i cant seem to find anything on applying for those kind of ads. Looking at the ads in ezinearticles.com, i am also trying to get the ad format on the article page. Any ideas on how to apply?
