I intend to submit to the following directories. Are they still recommended? http://www.linkopedia.com/ http://www.seoma.net/ http://www.sitesnoop.com http://www.tygo.com http://www.incrawler.com/ Any advice would be appreciated.
PR5 Guaranteed review within one business day (One Time Fee - US $9.99) PR5 Your PayPal payment of $15.00 purchases a SEOMA account and 1 submission credit PR4 There is a one-time, refundable payment of $10 USD PR5 $39.99 One Time Fee! PR6 The cost is only $24.95 Basic Listing In respect to home page that is, but that is only a very small element to the evaluation of a Directory based on the above Each individual submission to a portfolio of Directories is/or should be evaluated on many other factors like back links, indexed pages on SE's. marketing and support programs etc etc etc Advice follow Directories who offer value and quality and guarantee that the Directory is supported by a sustainable marketing program Chances are that if the Directory you submit to is well supported by the Directory's own in-house support team, then expect to see your Listing show a ROI
Hey british guy, Thank you for that excellent advice. Is forplex yours? I will buy a link on yours today with Paypal. Your offer is closed now right? $16 featured and permanent?
I would have suggested seoma last year but I submitted a jewelry link, and was happy with it until it started getting filled up. http://www.seoma.net/Shopping/Jewelry 50+ other entries on that page makes my submission almost meaningless. Should be 20-30 to a page IMHO.
I was going to submit to alive, but according to my Pr, I would be only on the second page for Internet Marketing and with PR 2 (first page has PR5). Should I submit wit alive? Others give me PR of 5.
I'd suggest aviva directory first, then alive would be next. For PR I think you're better off with aviva. Both are great directories.
I see it like this.... Paid links..... depending on PR given back to my site. Quality control can be maintained at an easier pace and less spam. Your link goes live usally within 24 hours "most directories" Free Links... You pay nothing with NO expectations of anything. These type of sites are to say the least NEW or Jammed with submittions so your site is irrelevent "Usually" unless you paid for featured. You may see this site become Powerful or you may NOT... It could be changed into somthing else a month later and your links Gone! I tend to stick with the basics and learn more about its Directory Owner so as to make sure my link wont be removed or deleted afterwards. Then i decide if the price is fair for my Links and if in general i think its Backlinks are worthy becoming the next PR7+ thx malcolm
Problem with Aviva: not my main keyword! I will submit to incrawler tomorrow. For tygo, there are too many pages without PR. I think I will be on a PR 0 page. Uncover the net gives me a good PR.
Also have a look at the directory in my sig, it provides great value at a good price, there is pr on very page.
Thank you everybody for your help and suggestions. So far, here what I did: 1) I verified almost all the directories I wanted to submit to: 2) Alive: For Internet marketing Pr = 2 (I didn't submit) 3) SEOMA: I submitted and got PR3 4) Aviva: Pr 4, but only site name. If he means the title <h1>, I will submit now. (I am waiting) 5) Tygo: Too many PR 0 pages (I didn't submit) 6) Go Guides: Pr 0, but many sites are there, is there is a benefit? (I am waiting) 7) Incrawler (I submit tomorrow) 8) Uncover the net : Pr4 (Waiting for advice: worth it?) So far, I submitted to SEOMA only. I need experienced advices to submit to the directories above (except incrawler since I already know that I will submit).
Seoma.net is a well-established directory with lot's of high qaulity backlinks and it definatly passes anchor text. Try my directory www.biz-dir.co.uk PR5 with PR4 sub-pages $20 a year (shameless plug).
Free directories are O.K. but the paid ones are better, you should get listed in as many directories as possible, free ones only won't kick it for big phrases!
