    I was asking Google about placing images like this and they responded that line between the images and the ads is not necessary, however they suggest to place it there.

    Well I wouldn't even put images as they mislead the users to click it.

    I bet if you ask Google again they would say it is not allowed,

    Many users including me got notices to remove images beside,ontop or below ads.

    Awesome..It's allowed and IMO I don't like placing pics above the ads..That will hurt my site's looking.

    lol looks cool.Its the best way to blind your visitors, I dont think if google will have any problem with this.

    There is some pretty thin air between the TOS and what you've done. According to the TOS, one must have some kind of visible seperator between the image and the ad, but if you check out GoogleWhores, or the top ten best paying sites....they and so many others i have met are raking it in hand over fist and yet i have seen violations of the TOS here and there.. Grrrr. So many fine if not invisible lines when dealing with images and ads, as well as issues regarding the 'perfect blending' of your ads to match content well enough to be confused for content; examples; the site you listed, sports by brooks, main trader.     some say it's allowed some say it isn't... even the answer from google isn't always the same!!!! :eek:
