Firstly apologies if this isn't the best forum to use, but I have looked at the list and can't see one more relevant! I would just like to know if these site stats are in any way decent, to the point where I might look to charge for advert*sing. Don't laugh at me if they're rubbish, as I don't really know! This is going by what Google Analytics says from the past month: Vis*ts: 28,422 Pageviews: 126,716 Absolutely unique visitors: 19,285 New visits: 66.48% Thanks in advance for any feedback! Ps. the two words with asterisks weren't showing up for some reason
these are good stats btw u are nearly getting 1000 users per day on your site thats good and the page views are pretty good
The figures look absolutely fantastic. However you might want to see the geographies and the sources/referrals that are driving the traffic to be able to charge for the advertising service, in case the client demands for such data. Also, a glance at the static figures does not say anything. You may also want to see the avg time spent by the visitors on the site, the bounce rate etc.
Bounce rate: 55.82% Average time on site: 7 mins I figure that makes the stats a bit less impressive It is a forum, so maybe a large number of visitors are there just to view one thread, then leave?
Yes I suppose, but I was mainly wondering if they would be good enough to consider charging for advertising, and if so around what rates to charge. AdSense have blocked my website (not banned my account, just this URL) because someone on my forums swore, which is a bit ridiculous but there you go.

Nice website design, but fix your footer. Regarding the stats, i think they are almost normal. But your alexa rank tell its all, your site is above 1 million. And for a 2 year old site you should have some better rankings.
You mean the font colour of it? The footer isn't really that relavent.. What affects Alexa rank? We've always just focused on building a small but quality base of users. I haven't put any money into advertising or anything, but would consider it if I could cover the costs.
dont bother about alexa ranking. just spend time on getting visitors and building backlinks. Your stats look awesome. Keep up the good work.

Your stats are good, but I agree with other writers you need to look at the reasons for your bounce rate. How are you promoting your site? If you are not doing any SEO - read about it, and start doing it - it will massively increase your visitors. But you still should be able to make some good money off your site. You may be banned from adwords - but there are plenty of other options. Here are a few for you to consider 1. Yahoo Publisher Network(YPN) 2. Microsoft (MSN) adCenter Affiliate 3. Chitika Affiliate 4. Kontera Affiliate Program This is easier than trying to find advertisers yourself. Hope this is useful. Pete
