i have heard that certain keywords leads to huge earnings per click...i have a blog related to "insurance Auto".its CPC is $20+++..but i have never earned above $0.8/click.......... Can someone tell me what is the story behind this??????????????????
I use Adwords but NEVER pay the headline CPC. For example if a keyword has CPC of $3, I might set my max CPC at 30cents. When Google decides which ads to display, mine might come in at #6 on search and only be displayed there and on content network 10% of the time - but hey, I don't care. I am getting less clicks than guys paying more - but I'm paying a whole lot less. IF I decided I could pay more and wanted to send a lot of traffic to the content network - I could pay CPV, in which case your site might earn less than 0.1cent to display my ad, whether or not it got clicked. Or, if I had a pot of money to pay closer to $3 a click and wanted to advertise on the content netword (where Adsense ads are displayed) then I would almost certainly be very picky about which sites I allowed my ads to be display - probably only on very well known sites that have lots of relevant traffic I am interested in. Makes it difficult for the little guys to earn big $ per click. I have managed to get as much as $3 per click from adsense - but it generally doesn't last long. Probably because advertiser checks and decides the traffic I send hasn't converted into a sale (on a sample of 1!)
thanks a lot for this info,as per your knowledge good and reputed sites only get promised CPC value......since am a blogger and my blogs at their initial stages i dont get that promised CPC.......... Does that mean if i have a site on a niche which has a CPC of $40 and that site is ranked on 1st,i'll almost earn $40 per clicks on relavant ads??????????
thats not real as of blogs also now a days does not earn high because of its sub domain so use dot com websites ...
