Are these ads allowed ?

    Hi,

    I'm new for adwords, need some advise :rolleyes:
    I'm concerning about violation of creating ads
    Are these ads being violation ?

    Dewalt xxx
    Includes xxx + xxx
    Free shipping
    www.buy.com/dewalt-xxx


    Dewalt xxx
    Includes xxx + xxx
    Free shipping
    www.buy.com/dewalt-aff


    Dewalt xxx
    Includes xxx + xxx
    Free shipping
    www.toolking.com/dewalt-xxx

    bidding keywords are : Dewalt xxx, buy dewalt xxx
    how should my ads change to ?

    destination url will be product page of buy.com and toolking.com

    I assume that Dewalt is a company name and the xxx part is the model of something they make.

    While I think your ads are not very attractive and would not generate a high click rate (unless these are just examples and not actual ads you intend to use), there is nothing wrong with them.

    The only problem is if this Dewalt company has requested their name and/or brands not be used in ads. You can still bid on those terms. If so, you can ask for an exemption from the company. This will be easier if those domains are yours and you are an authorized reseller of Dewalt products. Otherwise, your task will be much harder.

    I suspect they aren't allowed as Dewalt would be a trademarked term.

    Trademarked terms are allowed until the owner specifically asks Google to restrict using them in ads only to those the trademark owner approves. So Dewalt may have done this but I don't know, but it's very likely. They are a major player in the tools industry, aren't they? The only way to know for sure is run an ad and see.
