I have a domain name 360leaderboard(dot)com It was going to be exactly that, an xbox 360 leaderboard but are there already too many off them and how could mine be different?
I really don't think any market is saturated if done correctly. I would recommend taking a good look at other 360 sites and try to set yourself apart from them in some way. Provide different information, rare information, and good articles and I think you can find a user base in no time. Just do some research and try to find out what 360 users really want see....
I think Firegirl is right on the money! Try something that will set you apart and keep the visitors coming back over and over. Don't let the abundance of 360 sites stop you from starting your own..Just make yours unique and most of all fun.
The question is not: are there two many xbox sites out there? But: Did all the prospective visitors been reached? There's always a way to find new visitors in a big niche like xbox 360, you just have to be original in your marketing efforts...
Simple Answer No! I agree with the above, There is a gap for something like this but with so many establilshed 360 leaderboard sites your site will have to offer something the rest dont. If I knew what this was then id make the site because its got a big potetional! Also your seo will have to be right on the money, because theres some though competition. Good Look though!
I will do some research on the net to see if there is anything i could do differently, My son is 360 mad and around the right age so i will get him looking at sites to see what he thinks is good and bad.
