Are there search engine consequences to having a lot of redirected urls to your site?

    We apparently have about a dozen urls that we need to sort of consolidate. Is it a bad idea to redirect all these to our main site?

    its going to look like a gate way, which is bad.. google might consider as spam site..

    it should be fine,as long as you have 301 redirect
