    BIG KUDOS to >

    http://www.greenstalk.com
    http://www.kingbloom.com

    IMHO, two extremely well-managed directories!

    Meaning:

    No hassle submission.
    Easy to navigate.
    FAST inclusion!
    Excellent customer service!

I need a list of MORE like them!
I am looking for "personal experience lists," NOT A BIG LIST OF DIRECTORIES PLEASE.

My list starts with those 2:

    What about yours?

    THANKS :)

    Mike

P.S. I think both of those directory owners are members here? I do not know them and they certainly didn't put me up to this. They simply operate excellent sites IMHO and should be congratulated.

Yea, but where do you draw the line, if a directory is good it will attract more users/sites.
The problem is not the size of the directory but really the way it is managed so it feels small and cozy.

Kingbloom looks great but it'll be interesting to see how they manage their specialised software section which is already too big and too varied to be useful.

On the other hand my links have all been accepted within an hour (free submission) so that's pretty awesome!

I didn't use greenstalk as I don't pay for directory listings.

Greenstalk was free for a long time. They converted once they hit PR5 if I'm not mistaken.

Scanning through my list, 1 that I would add to that personal experience is
    http://www.alldotnet.com/

Despite them using a very popular directory script they manage to give a different feel to their directory.

I agree on Kingbloom, it's one of the best around IMO.

I would say mine, but probably I'm a bit hard rejecting sites, and I change almost all titles and descriptions, so maybe it's of little use for SEO purposes. And is new, has no PR, ...

Apart of that, is a good directory :D

By submitting to Greenstalk, they offer to list you in 7 or 8 other directories for $50. Seemed sketchy but after checking out the other pages, they have distributed their PR well.. and almost all of them were on different class-C ranges. The package included more than one permanent PR6 link... so quite a bargain. Thanks for pointing them out.

Nothing that blows my hair back.
But then again I don’t use directories so much that I need a ‘special’ one.

    Thanks ALL for the feedback.

    Any more?

I found http://www.linkcentre.com pretty good too.

    Again,

    No hassle submission,
    FAST,
    Good navigation,
    &
Don't have to register - that's another PLUS IMHO.

    Anyway, THANKS.
