I have watched all the first 3 seasons of "Alfred Hitchcock presents", and i was totally fascinated by the stories. When i was at school, we learned about O Henry who is famous for his short stories that with suprising endings. When i watched "Alfred Hitchcock present", It reminded me of O Henry's short stories, the only difference is at the end of each story, Hitchcock reveals the dark side of humans, while O Henry always show the nice part of people. Hitchcock horrifies you, but the stories are very interesting and illuminating. O Henry teaches you to love and there is always hope.
Love all Hitchcock films - favourites Rear Window(James Stewart and Grace Kelly) Dial M for Murder (Grace Kelly again) North by Northwest (Cary Grant) - if you haven't seen them you're missing out of some of the best films ever made
I actually own "Rear Window" and "Dial M For Murder" on DVD. They are definitely suspenseful and allow viewers to use their imagination--unlike film's today that are graphic in everything.
