Are there any updates in Google ranking algorithms?

I am wondering if there are updates in Google ranking algorithms, since my sites drops to more than 10 in any keyword.

Would you share with me. What is the updates and how do i do to optimize for it.

Hello komrad you mean that your websites ranks in G is on 2+ page? As I know nobody should know the right algorithms big G is using because of principe. And if your websites was dropped down, did you do any research how your competitors are doing? got their websites dropped down as well?

Anyway I want hear more from this topic so I will stay tuned here ).

Yes, some of the competitors sites dropped down too. I heard in some of webmaster sites, such as http://searchengineland.com/google-forecloses-on-content-farms-with-farmer-algorithm-update-66071
regarding content farm.

I think google seriously devalued duplicate contents or low quality contents from now on. Any opinions? Is that a bad news for SEO company that using article marketing as their methods?

 

Well the obvious question - are you a farming site? Ie do you take content from lots if other places. If so, then yes, there's been a big update which will be affecting your positions in the US dramatically!

 

Ya, they changed up the rankings, and those that have quality and links are doing better now. If you have duplicate content that could be why

 

Come to think about it. Duplicate content is such a touchy issue.

Example the topic is dog. How much can you talk about it? Am sure at certain point ot time, it will be reharsh content. Is that duplicate content?

 

I heard in some forums that its about on submitting content to hubpages and others, they also mention ehow... does submitting content to those sites won't help anymore???

 

When did this happen? My site seems to have jumped up a few places on the google page today.

 

Okay, so now google will only counts to the quality and unique contents only. However, how do to decide them? I mean, how google think about quality and uniqueness? How unique is unique? Very big question here in my head right now.

What about rehash content and articles spinning? Any opinions?

 

I did not see any changes in algo, even the ranking is stable.
