Are there any tools that are worth the money?

Managing keywords, adgroups, and split testing is getting time-intensive fast. Does anyone have some great tools that make managing it all easier and faster that you actually find to have been worth the money? (Or are free?)

I've been using excel to manage keyword lists, etc and am real tired of it...

Although quite old, Keyword Companion generally receives good reviews. I haven't used it myself, so I can't submit a personal opinion. Oh . . . And at $247, it is quite costly.

I've written several tools that help get campaigns going, get lists made and expand small lists to huge lists. But the actual account management is not something I've done yet.

Managing keywords, adgroups, and split testing, these are real problems and i strongly believe there is no single software that can handle this entirely. But key word management has come a long way as far as choosing it is concerned.
but as i said I do not believe that any one program can not do the job, in my opinion the good old way is better for free or else spending few dollars over certain good quality key word tools may be worthwhile.

Adgooroo seems to have some promise - I've not used it yet but I plan to.

You can check out SpeedPPC on the link below. It does a lot of the keyword mixing that you used to do in Excel with automatic ad grouping. Campaign building usually only takes a few minutes.

I appreciate the feedback... Definitely no ringing endorsements in here! Looks like there are at best a few options that might help but nothing in wide use that has an acknowledged value within the community. Interesting market gap... Must be harder to build than it looks.

I don't like adgooroo, thought it was for analyzing keyword search terms. But instead it's more for analyzing your competition and how your site sites with it's targetted keywords, totally overpriced.

Which free tools do you use? I'm working in Excel and would love to find a tool that is an improvement if it is out there...

If you often need to expand, combine or clean keyword lists, you may want to check this keyword lists management tutorial.
