Are there any successful Craigslist marketers here?

I am considering purchasing a website that relies (well, relied) on Craigslist for its main source of traffic/revenue.

The product requires 1 post per day in large cities of North America (U.S. mostly).

Now that Craigslist has introduced phone verification - what are people doing in order to make postings?

I would be sure to look over their TOS before doing allot of posting on there. They have a pretty strict terms of service.

Thank you for the tip, very interesting. But what I am trying to find out is HOW they are able to post if there is phone verification, and overall, Craigslist is very tough on mass posters nowadays.

 

There are people posting hundreds of ads per day on CL, all over the country. They continually re-post because of flagging and ghosting. You will need to step out of the box to join them. I suppose it would be called grey hat. It's not illegal, but CL doesn't like it.

You can buy phone verified CL accounts for $4 or $5 each. You will need to continually change your IP address when you post.

I've done this before. CPA guys use these techniques a lot. Here's the thing: Almost all of CL's traffic is people looking to buy something. That traffic doesn't go down. However, every time CL makes it more difficult to post, it merely creates less competition for those who figure out the work arounds.

You can also outsource to CL posting services. You'd probably have to do a search for a service.

 

It all depends on what you want to sell in CL.

It really depends on your market and how you communicate with them.

You don't even have to post to make money off Craigs List! I make about one post a month, only to E-Mail myself to make sure my E-mails are going through. Made $1,802.52 last month via CraigsList. Made $39,893.50 this way since April 1st of last year.

Posting isn't the only way to make money via CraigsList!!

And no, I don't pretend to be a HOT chick!! I did that for awhile a few years ago!!
