Photobucket does and supports hotlinking too. But there is file size limit there.

FREE Flickr accounts can handle 1200px width images.

Not sure what you mean by "hotlinks in the images". That would require code on your end wouldn't it?

What the heck? 1200px is too big for an image. Why? :D

If you simply want to hotlink to an image, then YES, a free Flickr account will work fine.

I've found most sites aren't imposing limits on the dimensions of the images you want to host but the size of the files - imageshack.us is one example of this.

They support a nice range of file types (jpg jpeg png gif bmp tif tiff pdf) and their limit is 1.53MB although you can upgrade to 3MB per image.

If you have a large photo you can get the size down considerably by saving it out at quality 7 (mid-range) if you don't mind minor loss of quality that most often won't be noticable.

Look at the image I posted above. It's from my Flickr account, and it's 1200px wide.

    I don't understand the problem?

I just checked Flickr's FAQ, and you're right:

    http://www.flickr.com/help/photos/#18
All the panoramas I uploaded were 1200px wide, so I don't think Flickr resized them.

What happens when you try and upload an image that is already 1200px wide?

    Yup..thats the problem..:D..

And if you upload a 1200px pic in flickr it will resize to 1024 px..For now, I am using a hosting site for my 1200 pic, but i'm not satisfied with it..Thanks for the information..I really appriated it..:)
