The title explains it all. Any ideas? Thanks!

The site looks nice, however I don't speak Spanish. Can you help me out with a link to the script download?

Thanks for bringing this one up mightyb.

i tried installing it, but i get a 'fatal error'.

It looks like it is going to take alot to get it working properly and looking good. Might wait till its out of beta (but then again EVERYONE will have it then)

If someone does get it up and running with no problems then please post here! thanks

What is "it" that you installed? Pligg? There are plenty of sites out there using it ( http://www.pligg.com/links/ ), but Pligg.com is the best place to start.

Maybe MamboCube's problem is with the latest verison of the script. I have successfully installed version Beta5 from December. I have not tried upgrading to Beta6.01. I will have to give that a shot and see how it goes and whether or not it can easily import an existing site.

I downloaded the latest pligg tonight. Since I am upgrading, I needed to create a tags table in the database and copy over the /libs/dbconnect.php file. I had to change some permissions on downloaded files and folders. Otherwise it connected to my database and showed my collection of articles without incident.

It now uses a templating system. As a result I will need to change it to reflect my site. That will take a couple of hours. Once complete, I will be switched over to the new system and go live.

It looks a little nicer -- adding clouds, which seems to be something like technorati tags. It suggests it gives you the ability to make a negative vote on articles, but I do not think this has been implemented. I needed to do a lot of bug fixing on the beta5 version. Hopefully some of this, which I did report, have been fixed in this.

However, I can report it does install and run.

You want to share your site's URL for us to take a look? Or are you just experimenting?
