Are there any PayPal alternatives that are safe?

    I have a website & eCommerce account. I also have a debit card & bank account.
    I made a PayPal account but I heard it isn't very safe & consumers don't like to use it.

    Any alternative Merchant account sites where money can be wired straight to my bank account or debit? Or e-check?

    Ive only ever used Alert Pay, Money Bookers, and GCO (Google Check Out).

    AlertPay is the most similar of the three.

    I am sure paypal is safe.
    PayPal is the faster, safer way to send money, make an online payment, receive money or set up a merchant account.

    Merchant accounts are always safer then paypal. They are FDIC insured and have to follow federal banking regulations. I have been using merchantinc.com and find their service to be easy to use and fairly prices. Money is deposited directly in to your checking account and it also gives you the option of accepting echecks.
