Are there any new 4 digit domains available for new registration?

 

Probably not, at least not in the .com TLD. You could write a script to try every four charcter combination and search the registry. Otherwise, there is no place I know of where you can get a list of what's available, only what's taken.

That is what I thought, but I know some people are pretty into the domain game and would know for certain. I'm no scripter, so hopefully somone will just give me a definite answer

There is, for example about a month ago I got 5gbx.com (Domain for sale with 400 visits p/d)

 

People over at Dnforum sell these lists all the time. Maybe Gtech has one lying around

 

When you say new do you mean never resgistered before?
Because there are tons of 4 digit .com's that have been registered before but are available now.
But I dont know if there are any 4 digit .com's that have never been registered.

 

I found a couple using numbers and letters, but nothing with just letters.

I was looking for some that had never been registered...

 

There can be I think 1679616 different domains with four characters, not conting the hyphen. So yes, there probably are 'a lot' left to pick from, if you can find them.

Sheese, it's not that hard to find them! I just found one on my second search. LOL!! Why is this question even being asked!!!! Any one want cz33.com? Better get it fast, it's a rare combination that rhymes!

 

My original post was a bit off the mark in terms of what I am actually looking for. I am only looking for letter...not digits...Are there still some?

I tried a bunch but couldnt get lucky.

How are these 4-digit domains so attractive if they don't mean/stand for anything at all.

They are all taken..all of them. A list was circulated at DNF months ago and they all got snapped up.

I have about a dozen but I had to pay to get them.
