Are there any negatives to 2Checkout.com?

Hello. I am a new member. Aside from their setup and higher service fees, I have not read any complaints from users, only recommendations as an alternative to paypal.

How is their dispute resolution department?

I am currently accepting paypal as a user since 2006 so paypal tends to not worry about me but I have colleagues that have their accounts limited as soon as anyone sneezed.

I find Paypal's email response to be very generic and did not respond to my queries. Is 2CO any different?

Any feedback is appreciated. Thank you. :)

I used them several years ago and the good thing is that I never had to contact their support because in my experience I never ran into problems except for when they were the victim of a DDOS attack.

I have been using 2checkout for past 3 months and it is superb. Their live support as well as email support is awesome and I've never missed a payment. Though I've requested a wire transfer only once but I had it within 2 days (Sweet) and for rest of my withdrawal Payoneer works like a charm.

I've never got a complaint against them except when they blocked my account saying I need to add "Privacy & Refund Policy" on my site. :)

Fees are little bit high but the best part is that it's a good alternative to PayPal.

i have seen few users got there account suspended just because they receive 2 fradulant payments... same with clickback, plimus etc. all close account of the merchant if they receieve 3 or 4 fraudalent payments.... and then you lose the signup fees as well.... so the best way to do business is PayPal where you dont have these kind of problems.. and paypal dont suspend account....

Thank you for all your replies. So far, they sound like they are the best. I think no news is good news. In the case of paypal, there's a lot of people on this forum seriously pissed off and I've seen the paypalsucks.com website so I can put two and two together.

we signed up for 2checkout a couple of days ago as an alternative to PayPal in our service and from start I found some drawbacks of 2checkout compared to PayPal. It is mostly related to recurring payments(subscriptions). 2checkout is missing very simple things like callback, that is when some subscription payment is made you can specify URL they sent request to with the details of payments, in 2checkout they are simply sending e-mail, so you need to manually check all the e-mails, also you can not specify any trial period for subscription like free for 30 days and then charge xx amount. This is also left for implementation on seller side. So as far I'm not so happy with it. If someone have solution for such kind of stuff in 2checkout it will be appreciated, maybe I couldn't find the needed stuff.
