It used to be I'd get calls from old industry hands named Herb, George, or Mike that knew the industries. Now I only get two kinds of recruiters and neither can read my resume (or at least the part about not willing to relocate, not willing to work contract, working only in specific technologies, and doesn't get scared away by ridiculous salary requirements). The two types have either a name like Stacy or Gupta. Stacy is all bubbly but doesn't know where the "any" key is and anything I say is "excellent, excellent" or "kewl". Gupta calls and sometimes goes by the name of Bob and doesn't know that Mountain View is a 500 mile commute from Mission Viejo. Am I the only one getting only Stacy and Gupta calls??
