Are there any good places to get Expired Domain anymore?

    Hello Everyone,

I'm just wondering if there are any decent places where I can scan through a list of expired domains that have some links to them and might make some money when redirected to a parking service - at least more than the registration price per year.

Some of the sites that I used to use:
    1) http://www.websitehostdirectory.com/deleteddomains.html - This had a nice list that would have the number of links to it and also Alexa. The nice thing about this, it would list some .us and some .org that you could use godaddy's backorder service (believe it or not). I tried to look at it today, and I got the text: "could not connect" in the main body text.

    2) www.domainspank.com - This I found looking through page twentysomething of the google search results! It hasn't been up for years, but the owner would provide a list of domains with backlinks from various places that I think were naughty related. Anyway, I registered a few domains there (most of the higher link-popularity ones were gone). I registered the domain, anothergoddam.com and actually made some money, but when the amount of money was less than the registration fee, it was time to let it go.

    3) www.domain-research-labs.com - I don't remember if I ever got anything here, but it is now a parked page.

    4) www.findateer.com - This had a nice search and it seemed like it had some very good gems in it, but they removed it. They have a companion parking service www.parkateer.com - which I've never used.

    5) www.enom.com - Enom has some good lists, but you had to bid on the domains, etc. Given my limited experience with domains at the time, the $29.95 domain registration fee left a bad taste in my mouth. I even bought the reseller account to save on money, but I ended up spending a lot here. This really isn't a registerable list.

    6) www.odditysoftware.com - This one used to be a really good source for expired domain lists and ones that were about to expire. You could sort by Yahoo, and Google links, Alexa rank, and even Google PR, but the last few times I've visited there, it doesn't seem like they're updating their lists at all. I discovered this later in my domaining career so I didn't make good use of it.

    7) www.exyahoo.com - I never did use this, but it was highly recommended by Peter something (I think he belongs here) who had an Adsense forum which is now dead I think. By the time I figured out his good post on obtaining expired domains, the site was no longer there and it directed to yahoo. - lol probably a little name infringement or something.

    8) www.snapcheck.com - Ah and this was a good one. This was the mother of all lists (that I knew about) that listed expired and expiring domains via PR, letter length and listed backlinks and I think Alexa too. It was really good. There slogan was "We know when, and you will too." It was free until September 1, 2006. I don't know what there rate is, but I'm sure the service is still good.

Now, I'm not looking for the high-flutin domains, the ones with low alexa ranks, loads of backlinks, and PR3 and up. I just want to go to a place where I can find the "low-hanging fruit" (and maybe medium domains) and maybe make a few extra bucks. I would consider a pay service, just as long as I could make more from the domains than the actually cost of the service.

Oh I forgot about www.tdnam.com, godaddy's auction service. They seem to have some good lists, but I haven't had much luck there yet.

Do these domains exist anymore, or has the domain marketplace become just too competitive??
