    Firewall: Zonealarm or comodo
AntiVirus: AVG, but I recommend buying one, I'm not current on the best so check a recent Cnet review.
    Spyware: AVG free

Zonealram is the best free firewall out there and AVG is a great free antivirus. Other great free tools out there are adaware and spybot s&d to take care of your spyware problems.

avast! is my favourite anti-virus. It updates automatically, so you can just set it up and forget about it.
