Rich Jerk is a great read for some good tactics and practices. I found it very useful

    Definitely would plug Seth Godin.

Unlike the Rich Jerk though, Seth Godin uploads all of his books online in ebook form for free. One of his ebooks is the most downloaded ebook, of all time, ever, out of any genre. I would say though that RJ seems more specialised for Internet Marketing whereas SG writes more ideas and principles for both online and offline businesses.

Looks like Seth is only selling paperbacks now, no free uploads. Just like me to be a day late and a dollar short--
but that is what bootstrapping is all about:) :) :)

Rich Jerk is a piece of garbage imho.

Read real books with real content.

    Tipping Point.
    Ah's SEO Book.

There's one book on copy I have I've read like 50 times. Can't remember the name at the moment. Will check back and post it.

    http://www.squidoo.com/seth/

There's a list of free ebooks about half way down the page, I managed to find some different ones by typing 'seth godin ebooks' into google. Also, that page is also pretty useful for a brief insight as to what he's about.

Just wanted to say a quick thanks for all the suggestions and links. Reading books etc is definitely a good way to learn and I'll be making a purchase soon - I'll let you all know how I get on.

Perhaps I should get someone who is successful to coach me for free :) As if lol!

A good book is a book named Digital Point Forums. It is excellent. It is so good that e-book authors get most/some of their info from here.

I am learning a lot from DP. It would be cool if their was a DP Wiki where all the experts created.
