Are there any free video hosts(to host my own video site)

    I want to get a video site going but don't have the money for the hosting.
    Are there any free hosts that allow this?

    Nothing is free. Video sites like YouTube are normally very resource intensive, and when you get a start you will be pretty much guaranteed to run into problems.

    You can try getting it sponsored by a web host, i guess.

    why host the videos when nearly everything is already on youtube? And if it's not, upload it to youtube yourself. Easy and free! Unless you are wanting to use content not accepted by youtube.

    In that case, there are a ton of free video site hosts. viddler.com and viddix.com to mention a few
