Are there any free eBook cover designer software that you would recommend? I've searched for a while and all i keep finding are trial versions with demo written across the cover I create. If anyone knows of a legitimate one that is completely free, please feel free to share. Thanks everyone.

The only ebook software I have ever used is ebook edit, however, it's not free. But it offers free version. Go to ebookedit.com. Hope it helps.
There are a few decent Photoshop actions to make ebook covers with - but of course, they require you to have Photoshop. http://www.google.com/search?q=free+ebook+actions If you were to upload a high res flat 2d image of your cover, it's possible that somebody might run it though Cover Action Pro for you.
The only software that I know and have been using for a really long time is the Brain and the Photoshop, believe me the brain always do the thinking and it really works
