Are there any disadvantages of posting to Wikipedia?

    What are things an SEO guy should look out for while posting to Wikipedia?... I mean apart from the quality and suitability of the content?

    no disadvantages .. but have difficult to stay post it wikipedia ..you need quality trusted content ..

    may you mean are wiki sites? because in wikipedia it almost impossible to put your links to promote your site .. I tried to edit Wikipedia, but always go back to the previous

    i know its not a site to put your links, but an article in wiki might do wonders for your ORM. However i accept its bloody difficult cracking their edit options!
