Ice helps me, turn off all the lights, tv, radio whatever and just relax, if you slow down your heart rate the pounding headache will be less intense...

i would just take some advil or tylenol personally, but if not the above may help

    hope this helps

If it is due to cold, try to breathe from the other nose.

When I feel a headache coming, I make sure to drink plenty of water. Sometimes headaches are a result of dehydration. Then I lie down if possible and close my eyes, take deep breaths and massage the space between my eyes near the tips of my eyebrows in a circular motion and then I massage my shoulder muscles at the base of my neck.
However, sometimes I'm unable to close my eyes and lie down, such as when I'm driving for example. That's when I have to resort to some kind of tylenol or ibuprofen, etc.

it could be related to your heart beat or got some air inside your stomach. either you let that air out or you take a nap to slow down your heart beat. wash your head could also helps a bit.

If you have serious headache, nothing helps. When it’s time pain will go away. Doesn’t matter how many pills you have taken before.

Ice or heat. I personally like to wrap my head in a heating pad and go to sleep.
