Are there and rules when promoting an item ?

Are there any rules or regualtions when promoting an item on the internet ? What would be considered false advertising ?

Sure there's rules - you can't say anything which is untruthful in theory. Cunning (professional) advertisers will sometimes twist the truth to make their product sound appealing, but nobody should tell a big fib. I don't quite know what this has to do with PPC.
