Agreed. Although you don't want to overdo it because it will only look spammy and rubbish. The point here is that you can be close enough in targetting your keyword by being relevant.

Of course you should use keywords in your title. Google is trying to think like a person. If the article is called "Best sports cars of 2011" it is probably about sports cars... I mean, it's kind of obvious.

Fernandez - I agree with you 100% - a keyword in a domain name - is crucial in Google search - especially if you're running a home remodeling company ------ doesn't matter what niche your marketing - domain keywords help search engine spiders find a link keywords on your webpages, while the search engine spiders crawl the first 1000 characters on your webpage -------------------------------------- cheers

Well definitely order matters.Put your primary keywords near to the starting point of your URL. Search engines think that words at the left hand side of the URL are the most important keywords.Keep only keywords in URL.Well title optimization is the main method of onpage optimization. One should always try putting some keywords related to the content in his title. The titles should be unique to each page as the content of each page is unique too. The titles should convey the content of the page in a resourceful manner.

SEOmoz places importance on the position of keywords in the title tag - can't post link as I've just registered, but search their site for ranking factors.

I'd usually try to put the most important keyword/phrase first.

Yes it does, even if you have a exact match domain but a different keyword in the title then the title keyword holds an edge over exact match domain.

The keyword in the title is extremely important, you should also aim to have the keyword in the description, meta keywords and spread naturally in the content, Google doesn't pay as much attention to the meta keywords as other search engines, but it pays particular attention to the title and description, so ensure your keywords are in there

Yes of course for SEO purpose it matters to have the keywords in the title but don't stuff the title with the keywords as it will look spammy.
