Are the fonts that Google uses for it's logo custom made?

I was wondering if Google had their fonts "custom made" when they designed their logo? Or did the fonts already exist?

Why do you think that they are using a font? Maybe its hand-drawn?

Many fonts look same to me, you can't see the difference between them.
Google is a big company, they will use original and unique logo only, they would spend $$$$ to hire a designer to draw/design that logo.
If you can find the font they are using, it's an interesting thing to know but I guess you will never find it out.

The current official Google logo was designed by Ruth Kedar, and is a logotype based on the Catull typeface - Wikipedia
