Are submission sites like isnare.com effective ?

I am looking to use isnare for some article submission but for $2, getting submitted to 40,000+ directories looks very unrealistic. There has to be some "catch" somewhere. So What it is ? why not everyone uses isnare instead of manual submission ? also does such sites keep your site links in the article or do they remove them ?

    Regards

They are very good, as i submit my articles through them and i get good results.
one of my article directory gets direct articles from them, may be iam one of those article directory owner whom they redistribute the articles.
I can its worth a try, but only CC accepted.

I use them and they are good, but it does take about 2 - 4 days before your article submissions to get approved.

Also, I pay $1 per article submission as I brought the bulk package.

Another thing, you may find that you have miss read it or something. I belive your article is submitted to a large amount of online directories and announcement groups, which means your article is liekly to reach a publisher audience of 40,000+

It doesn't say that your article gets submitted to 40,000+ directories.

    Yes. That is true.

Just to give you an idea I used a Pen name that had no results in Google when using quotes - ie "John Smith" - I searched it again after approximately 6 weeks of submitting 50 articles a week for distribution (plus ezinearticles) and when I do that same search now I get just under 20,000 results.

It's hard to say what impact that really has but certianly from a marketing standpoint (which is really why I submit so many articles) it does wonders. I get tons of customers filling in the "Where did you hear about us" box with sites that published our articles.

I understand how people can say that in terms of PR that article submission isn't what it used to be but when it comes to marketing it is still absolutely huge.

The majority of sites do keep the site links in the bio box but be prepared for some sites that publish articles distributed by isnare, and other article distributors I guess, because they make the links <nofollow> www. 123realestatearticles.com is an example. However, over all I think isnare is well worth the small cost and an extremely effective way of getting your articles out there.

I use Isnare and articlemarketer. Both give me great result when publishing articles.
Don't think you will get 40,000 links, that's just about the number of users that MAY see your article.

That is correct, iSnare isn't just about getting links or PR but about exposure. The vast majority of their submissions are to publishers who can choose whether to use your article or not.

I have gotten a few print deals out of it which of course don't result in links but are worth their weight in gold. (IMHO)
