Are subdomains accepted in Adsense?

I want to enlist a subdomain in adsense and I want to know if a subdomain can be accepted.

i assume your going to apply with a free host,but if it is on a domain that you own...
google.com may see sub domains separately from the domain,but adsense does not.(free hosts are the exception though)
if you have content anywhere on that domain that google will disapprove, you'll get rejected or get the site banned.
