Are Struggling For Those Backlinks That You Never See To Appear When You Check Them ?

How many of you are struggling to get those certain backlinks that we never see on our backlink checkers? I`m talking about certain article directories that everybody says are good for backlinks, but when we check for them they never like GoArticles.com, A1articles.com, Squidoo....etc. Squidoo were visible at some point after one month or so, but they seem to not appear now. Maybe you need several months to wait until indexed?

Also, links embed in Scribd, DocStoc, SlideShare articles are counted as backlinks for Google? I can never see them on my backlink checker for my website...

It is worth to try to get as many backlinks as you can from different article directories even if most of them do not ever appear when you check for them after a while.

Anyone who may have some advices on this matters would be greatly appreaciated...

    Thank you !!!

I have just now read in another post on this forum about something similar. The poster was saying that he noticed a drop in backlinks from article directories after a google update called panda. You may want to look more into that.

Ritepad is a new article directory that allows you to build two backlinks per every 300 word post. But duplicate content is not allowed there so you'll have to write original articles.
