I'm using www.NationalPositions.com for my SEO monthly services. They are charging me $1050.00 a month with no contract. My web designer tried charging me $2500.00 a month with a three month commitment. Beware!

I charge my SEO Service for only $700 / mo for each website as i am a free lancer.
But companies are charging upto $1000 to $5000 /mo
In companies still the same SEO works,
It's better to put some trust on Freelancer and get good results with minimum investment.

Thanks. I will keep you in mind. I currently like my SEO company. However, i'm hoping for #1 results on the keyword "title insurance" very soon.

Thanks very much for keeping in mind.
But let me clear you that keyword won't give much more business benefits.
You always target what you are selling and your business.
That's what it mean for the business.

I would fire him instantly sticking titles in my pages like this:

Not to mention all the other tragic mistakes i noticed in about 5 seconds, anyhow good luck. BTW the term "Title Insurance" is a simple one, there's domains on front page with only 280 backlinks, and pages that don't even have the term in the title of the document.

There are so many SEO firms but before choosing any firm must view their portfolio and past experience with SEO results.

With Paypal, and I say this as someone who gets hosed ocassionally by customers, you should be able to get a refund. Merchants hate this feature, but paypal to protect their "brand" is usually really protective of the person sending the money. At least that's my experience as a recipient of paypal payments...

I'm with a SEO company but have doubts as well. The thing that worries me is the lack of communication and when i asked if there wasnt onpage seo needed they claimed that onpage SEO is only 14% and of almost of no importance nowadays. But besides that, they do have some big clients, they are providing relavant backlinks (not from dirs, blogs etc but real related sites) and more. No results in traffic/results yet (2months) but this was told before we started. They need atleast 6 months to get some results. So I just have to wait and hope i havent wasted thousands of dollars for nothing.

Funny one, where did they come up with that random number? It's a bit like saying 87.3% of statistics are made up on the spot.

Of course on-page is highly important, actually it's critical to forming a complete optimization strategy.

Yes to my opinion this was strange as well. But they do provide content in a script on my site. Resources with my 40 keyphrases and a couple of articles.
Just no changes in my title(s) and content. I think i'm gonna hire someone for the whole onpage SEO as well.

Just to show how important on-page can be i done a test about a year ago, i used zero off-page optimization and the results are here.

I just done a quick re-check of the results, and they are still pretty stable a year later.. The only thing that's changed is the number of results due to Google's changes in page relevancy over time.

That's complete on-page, mainly text and language formatting in the document and the only links to the page were internal.

Combine that with good off-page and you have a powerful webpage.

Using an outside SEO company can help a lot!!! But finding an honest one, now there is a tough one.

90% of the people offering SEO are either spamming or scamming. Use common sense when hiring someone for SEO, if they offer sounds too good to be true 99.9% of the time it is.

if you cant do it yourself..then you should definitely hire an seo company...just make sure they dont over charge you...I personally dont charge much..I like to charge for consultation ..and then for on-site fixes..and then the rest is link building. I also can offer press releases and viral marketing.

It shouldnt cost you a fortune either....I only charge about $150 for on-site and then I charge per link for link building.

Also, any company that doesnt tell you what they are doing exactly is to be avoided. Make sure your seo firm tells you what they are doing and that you fully understand..

Also never go for a firm that gives you a guarantee....if they do then run ...far far away.

That is very true. Folks like to pay based on performance and I know I have lost quite a few SEO gigs to scammers that do offer them but I always warn my potential clients that nobody can guarantee SERP because there are too many variables outside the SEO's control.

you can out-source alot of those things VERY cheaply. there are services that will write content, add it and bookmark for about $5 an article.

Been there, done that....those services will provide you with very low quality content by non-native Enlish speakers. Generally not worth it, as I found myself spending 10 minutes editing each article and still ending up with low quality stuff. I was better off spending 15 minutes writing something shorter but higher quality myself.
