are Sedo Bidders fake?

i recently got some offers from sedo in auctions, but status of most of the domains which i accept the price is:

We have invoiced the buyer for the sale of your domain. As soon as the payment reaches our escrow account we will inform you and begin the technical transfer

and after about 6-7 days the status is same...

Is it my bad luck?or most of sedo bidders just like bid and non payin?
cause after the bids that i recieved for almost 9 domains just 1 buyer paid:))...

happened to me too. Sedo say that when someone makes a bid it is legally binding, however when that bidder does not pay ,it is up to the seller to take the action not sedo. Not that good really

i think some one is fukkin via sedo and thats not good when sedo cant control and find real peoples and bids:|

there are fake bidders on every platform. personally, ive never had any trouble getting sales done through sedo, but that is probably just luck on my part. sorry you got a fake/fraud bidder.

I've seen some very high bids for ordinary domain names in sedo.....i dont think sedo is reliable 0_0 bidders offer too good a price and maybe they never pay

I have had about 30% of sales not concluded by buyers, I asked my account manager to take action and they have been banned from SEDO

I have not had this happen yet, though I hear it does happen quite a bit on Sedo. But like Kohashi said, it happens everywhere, on all sites.

yea , in everywhere ,but when u think if the last before the fake one was true..there was a better hope.i think sedo should do PREPAID option before let any one bidding:|or atleast better verification

may be it is happening because of lot of domain steeling

they may be try to stop charge back if any chance it occurs

    intentionally they can make delay

see, that is my suspicion, i know they have more rigorous verification for pricier domains (1k, 10k, 100k are the levels i believe). i am guessing most of these deals are <500$ domains

I have only ever recieved one bid ... and it was a legitimate!
Perhaps i have just been very lucky.
It did take around 10 days for the sale to go through, but i thought this was fair enough considering the domain/payment escrow.

anything the *buyer* says should be ignored. It should all be coming from Sedo directly.
