Are registerfly going down the pan?

They don't answer support questions anymore, and they won't give me my money back. Their live support people seem to be blanking me.

I went to the live support, and they just cut me off, despite being polite, but having legitimate concerns

Anyone know how to get your money back from these people???

I was talking day by day for over 10 days to live support at registerfly to get my domains start working...

Yeah - sometimes very cheap domains...

But at all i don't recommend this registrant!!

One major tip is to transfer all your domains and services away from them first before trying to do any sort of chargeback because as soon as you initiate that chargeback and they get the notice they WILL sieze all your domains and hosting and etc. that you have with them and most times they WILL NOT give them back.

I do not recommend using RegisterFly for domains or any other services as I have seen too many complaints and problems on many boards.

    My 2cents.

Well they can't really steal your domain from you can they? I mean how bad can it get. I have used them for over a year for all my domains which are about 3 dozen and the only problem was that I could not renew one of my domains in time because their system was trashed. Now that domain is "lost" in some netherworld with advertisements on it but I didn't really care that deeply about that domain.

The way I like to do things is I keep my hosting, Domain registration and as much else as possible compartmentalized...so one cannot affect the other. So while I might buy one of their cheap $8 SSL certificates I will NEVER host with them.

Ive noticed a couple of problems with their site. For one, when you try to update DNS records sometimes its superrrrrrrrrrr slowwwwwwwwww and on rare occasions I was just not able to update my subdomains and my sites remained crippled. But then again they provide DNS services free.

Also when you are buying, the menu system is just wacked. You have to click 2 or 3 times to get things done.

    Perhaps their servers are overloaded?

I think Goldman just hit the nail on the head, it is by far not the best there, but who else is offering infos below a dollar and .nets for $3.

It's not given me too many problems too ( :touch wood: ) , but i've heard a lot of horror stories about them. Domains disappearing, not being able to renew, no renew reminders,etc...
