I have a couple edu site. One has a nice PR5 and steadily increasing traffic. All sites are built on Wordpress although they are not blogs. Two sites have identical databases of colleges and address information. The databases are not included in my sitemap but are indexed by Google. Is there a potential that Google will at sometime penalize the use of databases that many webmasters have access to thus becoming widespread duplicate content? I am almost thinking the databases are not worth it anyway since much of the information is out of date and I get lots of requests from people to update it because they are getting phone calls not meant for them. The only drawback is I believe the database pages function well for my adsense revenue. Thus my dilemma.
