Is it difficult to write a press release that will picked up? Where do you people usually submit your press releases?

Yes, they can be difficult to write... that's why they're a specialty field. While there's no substitute for working directly with a PR professional that can work with you on everything from your news angle to your headline and release content to the best distribution option for your specific audience, you can certainly try writing your own. I offer several templates and free info on press release writing at www.FreePressReleaseWriting.com if you want to take a look (and btw, I run a PR firm, so this material is written in my area of expertise for you).

All of my information is at my business site listed in my sig already. www.jhmattern.com If you want to order a release, know that I'm completely booked through this week, and you should contact me via email (on the website) instead of PM if you want to reach me quickly.

virtualworks, please don't hijack a thread with a new (and irrelevant) question. Instead, start a new thread (in the copywriting area in your case). :)
