Are porn sites profitable?

Hello everybody I'm looking to create my first web site and potentially start earning online. I have experience with web design but not so much starting up an actual site. I'm looking to create an adult tube site and not sure really where to begin. Are adult tube sites profitable and difficult to start up? Where would the actual revenue be coming from, porn sites paying me to post their videos or ads? I'd appreciate any help or advice, thank you.

Usualy porn sites (as most interested people look for FREE stuff) need a lot more traffic to earn decent ... money

I had a friend he had a xxx site had 100-200k/day traffic and was earning 5-6k/month ...

The only problem is, your competition is stiff. No pun intended

 

if you are already in this business, then its one thing. if you already know the market and know how to make money with this niche, then thats fine. but if you are just starting up and not even sure whether they make money or not, why go with this niche and not go with a mainstream site? after all its making money at the end of the day and i would rather make money from mainstream sites than porn sites.

 

The way I see it, you have 2 choices, porn affiliate site or site which offers porn for free. Why don't you also try viagra affiliate and sex toys affiliate?

 

It can provide big profit since many individual searching for this. Porn sites are very selling especially among men.

Porn site is about s^x so its gonna be marketable. Adult site sells a whole lot

 

You need traffic, try to get (free) traffic from Google

 

Pick something else better. There are so many great sites all for free in this niche you have as a "small" no chance. believe me

 

I personally don't prefer adult tube sites. But when I go to make a research on which kind of website are becoming popular in short time then at first adult tube sites comes to the list. I don't know why adult site gets more visitors than any other site?

 

Hi Dantheman. I agree about picking other topic because some sites have strict rules with regards to adult sites. Like for example on other directory sites, youtube and other social sites.

Yes, porn sites make a lot of money but you need to learn to not be a role model to the society and spam, steal, and cheat where ever you can. Most porn site owners are the most untrustworthy bastards you'd ever meet.
That's what it takes to profit on porn because all of the rest of the porn site owners are vultures spamming, link farming, and cookie stuffing peoples computers.

 

They are a very profitable business at the moment but only if you've got exclusive videos, don't go around stealing them off other websites since you could find yourself with a rather hungry lawsuit on your back!

 

I agree. It might look as a good idea at start but imagine how many people already thought of the same thing.

 

Sure........! there are so many other niches are present to work hard on them. Also for advertising you have to face so much difficulties as almost good ranking sites avoid to any share with porn and adult sites.
