Are People bored of Facebook?

Recently a UK survey claimed that youngsters of age group between 15 to 24 years of age are getting bored of Social media sites like FB,Orkut and twitter.

What do you think?

Are youngsters really getting bored of social media sites? Is that true or just a sensational news?

Please give your views on it.

 

In my view/opinion I never got bore of facebook because the everyday is new day with a latest posts and content which i see in my news stream are extremely new. And of course facebook giving lot many new features like video calling, timeline etc.

 

No. More and more people are still using FB. This is just sensational news.

 

fb is a good way of knowledge.we can make more and more friends.its an interesting way of bussiness.we don,t feel boring with its.

 

Facebook is the furture and is here to stay... It will get far more useful too when it comes to business.. watch this space..

Of course. Just take a look at myspace. Couple years ago, it was popular, now?
Someday, the same thing will happen to facebook and new site will take over.

 

I really don't believe that certain kind of survey, why? Because, Social Networking sites today is really dominating. You can't meet a youngster today without an account in these Social Networking sites.

 

depend how you use the Facebook...
if you use facebook just for update status and messaging with your friends, i kinda bored..

 

They may be bored for some little reasons, but facebook has bigger reasons to stay, and fb is a new thing in other countries.
Also, people in general is very narcissistic and egocentric, its hard to lose that market.

 

I don't know about people but I am for sure.

 

I'd agree with the OP, mid-way through last year I had 600 active friends, that's now dropped about 30% to 480'ish. People are definitely getting bored.

its totally depend on the choice of the user what they think and what they like. As i like a custom software development company.

People where "wow" at first but not everyone liked it

 

I am definitely bored with facebook...especially with the latest feature - timeline..

Sorry, I don't think so. when it comes to digital marketing, there no other way mate. Facebook is turning out to be key factor for success in any kinda business.Cheers!

 

as being said, facebook can offer some great business opportunities. so don't know about youngsters, but i love fb. and i think it'll be around for a long time.

 

But have you noticed that large businesses try not to promote their products or services through FB? I see a lot of affiliate programs there but most large businesses stay away from FB. Maybe there's a reason for it.
