Paypal have had many stories of freezing accounts.

If you upgrade to a paypal business account, are you less likely to be froozen, less likely to have your funds held for that 180 days thing?

on the basis that you have a higher level of security, so they don't see you as big a risk?

(lets assume you dont do anything crazy like take $3000 everyday from your PP account to your bank),

but the question is mainly are business accounts seen with 'less' of a threat than a basic account.

and also.... when upgrading for a business account from Premier, what additional details do you have to give, if any?

I have a business account, but that alone won't protect you. You need steady traffic of payments over time to show you have a business going. Even then, if you do a launch and have something like 10 grand in your account in one day it will get flagged and they might call or shut you down. Call them! Let them know you have a launch going on and they'll note the account you called. It can make the difference!

Thats not true. If paypal found any suspicious activity in your paypal account then they'll limit your pp account evenif you have business pp account.

    DON.

Business accounts allow you to do business under a company or group name.

You will raise an alarm to pp if you make that kind of a transaction al of a sudden and your account will be limited. So, call PP support and inform them that u have a big pay coming and get their views to solve this.

I don't think paypal treat Business accounts any differently. Still open to the same freezing and limitation issues.
