Are Paid Links Worth The Investment?

I am working hard for getting Backlinks for my travel websites.i have seen many advertisements on sites on Paid Links.

I have also heard from many good SEO sites that Paid links and Link Farms are identified easily by Google and does more harm than good.

I wish to know are there any reliable sites through which i can get quality backlinks by paying them?

You can get "un-traceable" paid links in sites that don't offer them :) You'll have to contact the webmaster directly and ask them if they would like to sell you a link.
That is the only way of preventing google to find out.

just visit "link sale" sub forum on DP and then buy from the member,,,it will be cheaper and better than buying from a link broker

Don't do pay links, it's a bannable offense by Google. You can just buy some high PR blog URLs to comment on them. Works better that way, and you won't get into trouble with Google :)

The only time paying for a link would be profitable would be if it was on a very high PR site that was ranked well within the serps and was relevant to your niche such as if it would be possible to get a link on expedia's front page. Now if you are actually thinking about using link farms as a source from links in an attempt to get PR you should expect to be dropped far down into the serps. Google gives plenty of warning for those that attempt to build links unaturally that their site will be punished and either dropped down far into the serps or they will be completely indexed and the only way to get your site re indexed is to contact every site owner that runs a link farm such as a ffa site and ask them to remove your link which can lead to alot of head ach. I actually made the mistake which your considering and to avoid the head ache I just rebuilt my site on a new host with a new domain name. If you would like to get free links by paying for them perhaps you want to consider paying a article writer or paying someone to submit your site to directories. Anyway if you have actually visited an seo website that promotes the use of link farms than they are a worthless seo company that has not read google webmaster guidelines.

google is coming down hard on paid links but you can still buy links from individual sites which cannot be tarced by google as paid links. buying links however is expensive and cannot be a long term strategy as most of the link sellers require you to pay monthly or yearly for links. you can get high quality relevant contextual backlinks created which will stay forever. there are lot of social media, web 2.0, and top article sites where you can publish articles and write on to get backlinks. idea is to get permanent backlinks and not paying monthly

Many people say many things (many men many minds), but you should be careful in buying or selling links. Do not buy many links at a time.

Contrary to what most people think, you will not get banned for buying links in link farms. If that was the case, we'd all be paying $50 to have our competitors site submitted to link farms so they'd disappear. I also knew a webmaster at Google (before the latest round of layoffs) and he confirmed that they just ignore those links.

Also, some paid links ARE considered very strong influencers to the Google results. Such directories include the Yahoo Directory, Microsoft's old directory, BOTW.org, Business.com, etc.

However, I do agree that spending a lot of money buying inbound links is not a sure thing. A couple here or there is okay, but it should NOT be your sole source of traffic.

Think about it, you are not buying links, you are renting links and while that is partially a semantics issue it makes it clearer than like renting an apartment you never own it like the permanent links that you get from an article or a blog post or a link back because someone puts you on their blog roll. Buying/renting links requires paying every month and should never be a long term answer because over a year a link you rent at $10.00 per mo. is actually $120.00 per year. This gets expensive very fast as you will need many links to get decent serps. Short term it might make some sense, long term it is a born loser!!

If you are going to buy links, it's to get links that are related to the content of your site. As with everything else, buy links in moderation, and vary the anchor text.

Relative content on the site you get the links from is really important. Also remember that you are renting and not buying the links, and do everything in moderation. If you must buy links then only do it as a part of your linking strategy (do not use it as your primary or only back link builder).
