I have been building one-way links to my real estate website by adding my site to directories, posting on blogs, and writing articles. The directories... are all pagerank 0 crappy links There are some paid directories out there, Pagerank 3 and higher..... that charge yearly or one time........ Do you guys think its risky to buy directory links? Do you think that Google might take into consideration that people would buy these links for traffic?.... I notice my top competitors, who are @ the top of the SERP's .... all buy these juicy high pagerank links What do you guys think???? Also, I just found this article from last year: http://blog.seoptimise.com/2007/05/matt-cutts-says-paid-directory-links.html "Matt Cutts says paid directory links are fine" Does anyone know if this is a fact? THANKS!!!
It's not risky to spend money on submission review fees. If the directories accept anything and everything, that may be a different story...
i say its risky , its not a good source of backlinks either. Those days are gone, Google wont like directories much. its like a spammy link farm with irrelevant links.
I had always been messing around with websites for a few years, but it was always for fun. I never tired to get real traffic. Where could I start looking to buy editorial links?
