OK well I’m just wondering if it makes any difference WHERE the pages are stored on my server to google? So if I were to make landing pages would I put them on the root of the server? Or is it ok if there in a folder…. Will google see pages on the root as being more relevant? Thanks people.

It only make sense how many links point to that page. And then it can be that pages nearby the root have more inbound links. It just depends on that page itself, what the relevancy is that the SE's think your page has.

Most often the homepages has the most links and that may be the reason that it show more often then your other pags. The cure for that is simply deeplink link building.

It totally depends on the logic of your site structure. Every page that is a child of a parent should be placed to the right of the parent and so forth. Regiment your URL logically.

So for example if you have 5 pages about different types of cakes the structure would be website.com/cakes/cake-1/ and website.com/cakes/cake-2/ and so forth. Make sense?
