I researched sedo and found info for tdls. According to sedo, "The most popular – and hence the most sold – TLDs are .com and .de domains. Others are coming up fast on the horizon with .biz, .net, .info and .co.uk gaining rapidly in popularity." and it doesn't include .org domains! But, i think, .org domains are also valuable, too. What do u think about this???
Yes, some .org domains are certainly valuable. They may be just lagging compared to other extensions.
I think the .org extension will be forever tainted by it's association to organizations. Basically it doesn't translate well into creating a commercial site. I personally like them, but the value of a .org compared to a .com is a tremendous difference. If you can find a .org that fits the extension, then it may actually be more valuable than the .com alternative. I can't really think of any examples, but it's definitely possible.
I'd say that the value of the .org site would be directly equivalent to the value of the organization it represents. Let's say you have a website called SPAM.ORG that represents the Society for Prevention of Annoying eMail. Although it may be a viable organization (I don't think it is since I just made that up), it will never have the same value as UnitedWay.org.
.info domains have been done to death by spammers . Don't know if search algo's devalue .info but many people now know they might give irrevelant results
