    You wont't get banned from google but you can't use adsense.
    You should get in touch with your state laws however towards the legality.

    Consider the laws
    * where you live
    * where your site is hosted

    You may be required to put legal warnings up regarding age etc. Talk to a real lawyer before you start and operate from a "limited liablility company" or the equivalent to protect any assets you may have.

    In the US and for US customers they have been not legal since some time last year.

    I am still highly pissed about this. If I want to play low stakes poker from the comfort of my home the government has no right to tell me I can't do it. The a**holes took away one of my few small pleasures.

    It's all about the mighty $$$ If the govt can't tax the income they don't want a part of it.

    You are being much to kind to the government. The mob paid them off with "contributions" so we would visit their rip-off riverboats.

    Hell, if I had ever won any money I would have reported it. Mostly I did it for fun.

    Unless you have a loads of experience in the online casino industry and loads of money I would advise against this. Do you know how competitive it is?

    I'm not saying its impossible to make money but it will be extremely difficult without a very large pot of money.

    In the countries where it is legal it is usually very regulated, which means you better know what you're doing. You cannot accept customers from countries where it is illegal, and if you do you might get arrested if you ever try to visit those countries. It happened last year in the US with the CEO of Sportingbet, an online casino regulated by the UK and formerly listed on the London Stock Exchange.

    In other words, I would advise against it. There are far too many hoops that you have to jump through to get an online casino going. There's a reason why most online casinos are owned by just a couple of parent companies.

    In the USA, operating an online casino has ALWAYS been illegal. And that includes anyone standing on USA soil. So moving your servers somewhere or other games don't matter.

    I think that online casinos are illegal in all parts of the US... I remember hearing something on the news about it last year, but I'm not 100% sure
