I am new to this forum. Took me two months before I could get a password that actually worked and every time I tried to contact customer service, the email box would say it was too full. Anyway, that's a whole 'nuther topic. This is my first post and I know it's odd to start off with a question about nudes. But I have a nude pinup site that is not pornographic in the least. It's just kind of interesting and retro and, well, nude. I suppose I could ask Clickbank directly but I thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone has had any prior experience. By the way, I do have an unrelated site on CB. Just went active Friday and got my first sale today. YAY!
CB tends to ban people who put their links up alongside "objectionable" content so we'll just assume nudity and a link to forex trading won't fly. Although it could really work wonders for muscle building or weight loss...I have a feeling CB is wasting a gold mine this way. Otherwise, there are plenty of CPA offers that have no objections, and PDC is desperate for any sort of business so you could try contacting them.
Interesting question. I'm not even sure CB really regulates where links are posted. Yes, I'm sure you'll find somewhere on their site about the questionable material part, but there's a TON of stuff I'm finding on their site that's out dated, or not really clear. Their faq is kind of lame, and despite my overall optimizism concerning CB, they do operate in mysterious ways. Lol, I don't think you should worry about your pinup sight, as long as you're not doing anything illegal. Also, what products do you plan to promote? Are there any products out there in your niche? Don't just slap up random products. This is a tip for you. No one's going to ban you from promoting random products, but you just don't want to waste your time. Maybe bodybuilding may work well.
They don't like questionable stuff. I had to delete some nude education photos in my guide, Ejaculation Supremacy! I did some research a while ago about nude stuff and basically nearly all payment processors don't want to know. Paypal is also a no. You'd be looking at something like ccbill but I understand that requires a big capital investment.
Thanks for your input. I feature 400+ pinup photos on my site. My idea is to make 1000 photos available through download. Haven't worked out the mechanics of that yet. I can understand CB not wanting to allow objectionable material but I do agree that they're missing out if they don't become a little bit more flexible in this area. I will contact them about my specific site and report back.
I suppose CB will not allow nudity. After the ban over P2P sites, CB considers all aspects to become the number one affiliate network.
Here's the response I got from ClickBank Client Support: "Hello Bob, Thank you for your inquiry! ClickBank's forbidden activity policy does not allow us to accept products that involve or discuss pornography or adult entertainment or show nudity in any kind of sexual manner. We wish you the best of luck!" Although what I was asking doesn't really fall into any of those categories, I think I'll just leave it at that.
