Are NoFollow Backlinks Really Backlinks?

    As far as Google is concern no follow links are nothing but for Yahoo, Bing and other don't care about it.

    I still find no follow links that got high PR and still counting as back links but its very rare so I'm too confuse on this.

    LOL! This topic gets kicked around a lot and I get kicked around
    a lot when I play with it.

    If course nofollow links have some value. As far as seo, well, that
    would be in the end game from whatever a nofollow link can lead
    to, eg. linkbait.

    People confuse nofollow with a lot of things. All it does is not
    pass PR to the linked site. That's it.

    But how about relavancy? Does a nofollow link pass relevancy
    from a high authority, related site?

    I always bring up the value of the nofollow links in twitter.
