Are most Firefox users SEO webmasters?

    Told by my friend.
Many webmasters who work on SEO would like to use FF.

Call them ” SEO webmasters” As a result many SEO webmasters more like to download FF and add-ons.

    The questions are:
Do Firefox browsers are only often be used at SEO field?
What those who are not SEO webmasters have any reasons want to use FF?

BTW: I do also use FF.

    Thanks / Regards

I use firefox. I do not want to change to Chrome or bing up until I find some good reasons to do so!
    I am webmaster though!

Not just SEO's use firefox...anyone with a brain does :) JK...Firefox is much better than IE in so many differnet ways....I like Google Chrome as well, but it isn't developed enough for me to make the switch.

Best SEO/Webmaster plugins for firefox (what I have):
-SEOpen https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/570 (some people use Aaron Walls SEO Toolbar or Bruce Clays SEM toolbar...but I perfer SEOpen due to the fact that it is so condensed and does everything I need it to do)
    -NoDofollow https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687
-Firebug and YSlow https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1843 (Yslow is an addon to Firebug) https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5369
    -Greasemonkey https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748
    -Google Synonyms https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6029
    -MyLive PR https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2007
    -Google Toolbar of course http://toolbar.google.com
    -Live HTTP headers https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3829
    -Fire analytics https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5522

    Optional (but really cool):
    -XMarks (google it)
    -Foxytunes (google it)

Also, this site: yoast.com has some really nice plugins. I use one called "link analysis" and what it does is when you go to Google, Bing or Yahoo to check backlinks it will show you automatically what the anchor is for that link and if it is followed

    Hope that helps you out.

I think because Firefox has so much community development support in the form of plug-ins that it is preferred by a lot of SEO webmasters AND web developers (who aren't even SEOs) alike. I would bet that a MUCH bigger percentage of Firefox users are in IT either as a web designer, web developer, webmaster, etc. than are IE users.

I do see that those focused on SEO, and webmasters tend to use Firefox. I believe it is because of the addons. They are many addons that are helpful to webmasters and those focused on SEO. Firebug, SEO4Firefox, Screengrab! are all great addons that Firefox provides.

Plus, I think webmasters and those focused on SEO realize that Firefox is a better browser.

You can do many thing with FF plugins - what was made a popular browser. I don't see any other browsers that can help me optimize my site as FF does. I'm using Firebug, CSS Viewer and SeoQuake and really happy with it.

I used FF for a couple of years before I got into SEO, as did my partner. We found it to be much more stable than IE, which seemed to crash quite frequently.

Many other non-SEO people I know also use it, even my parents use it!

I love FF and I always use it 'coz of its great speed and useful add-ons. But based on my website stats, most of my visitors are using IE. I don't know why, but it seems huge percentage of people are still surfing the net using IE browser.

Firefox is just very handy to use, and it doesn't boil down to plug-ins only. Take load time, the tab system, easily managing your history, or security, to mention a few. Also, the big deal with Firefox is that it has a community behind it.

I used firefox a lot before I became a webmaster. But most of my friends who aren't webmasters still use it... I think it's mostly because it's so to say cooler than Internet explorer.

But the possibility of downloading all those addons so easily is a great plus with FF.

Most webmasters are advanced web users who definitely use one or other add on not available in any of the new browsers. So may be ur true.

what kind of a question is this? FF is good for webmasters because it renders CSS correctly and Firebug is one of the best tools ever created.

This means it is not specific to "SEO webmasters", but all web professionals.
