What do you think ? are moderators always correct while giving suggestions/infractions ? cant they make mistake ? (they are human)
On any forums of any type that ive ever used i learned that you just leave moderators to believe that, theres no use arguing with them. Its not worth being offended by infractions, red rep or anything like that, their just colored pixels on your screen, they wont affect your life.
Sure! I joined not long ago and I already had one , but that was my fault I posted my first thread in the wrong forum
Yes Mods can make mistakes, although they will not admit it openly. But each mod has a list of things to go by. Each mod may interpret them differently or may be easier on some sort of "no no" and may focus more on bigger issues. Indeed they are human and at times may have an epihany to correct matters.
Yeah its 10 infractions before a ban. And of course Mods make mistakes, there human beings like the rest of us
Yes they are. I've even got one for posting a non-affiliate link to my own website, just because it was tinyurl-ed. But I'm either: 1. too lazy to argue 2. I obey the moderators 3. too lazy to argue
You're allowed to discuss about YOUR infraction by PM, if you feel it's not fair. No promise if they will reverse it though.
Yes moderators make mistake. Without giving details, it recently happened to me. I addressed it with the mod and that person had made a mistake by receiving a bad report. It is the moderators who never admit they make a mistake that cause the worse problem. I also think there should be a way to communicate with them when you get banned by mistake. We have to live with what we have and hopefully the mistakes will become fewer and fewer. You can discuss them, just do not make a public spectacle of it. A private message to a moderator will often get a reply and an investigation.
No promise that you won't get another one for disturbing the mod .... I have seen ppl talking about it
